Robert Weisz

biography

Robert Weisz serves as Partner and Managing Director of Timevest, a European commercial property investment company. Its portfolio includes high street shopping and commercial retail locations in Germany, the Czech Republic, and the Netherlands. Previously, Mr. Weisz was Partner and Managing Director of DBN Group, a commercial property company operating in the Netherlands and the US. Mr. Weisz has been visiting professor at the Technical University of Eindhoven's Urban Planning Design Group since 2004 and was formerly a guest lecturer in property finance and valuation at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate and University of Groningen. Mr. Weisz is the co-author of three textbooks on property investment.

He obtained MBA, CA, Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors RICS

Andrew Konig

Andrew König is a chartered accountant with more than 25 years of commercial and financial experience. He currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Redefine Properties Limited and is responsible for all aspects of regulatory compliance, corporate activity and communications, and ensuring the board’s strategy is implemented. Prior to his appointment as CEO in August 2014, Andrew served as Redefine’s Financial Director. He was appointed to the board of Redefine in January 2011. Previously he was Group Financial Director at Independent News & Media.

Andrew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and is a CA (SA).

Dionne has a B Com LLB from Wits and thereafter was admitted as an Attorney of the Supreme Court of South Africa. She lived in London for 11 years where she worked at Stenham Property managing commercial property investments for offshore clients. On her return to South Africa, she was appointed as the director of Ellerine Bros. Proprietary Limited, which is involved in equities and property investments.

Sandra held the position of General Counsel of De Volksbank NV, the fourth biggest bank in the Netherlands. Previously, she was Chief Legal Officer of the Dutch Ministry of Finance and Corporate Secretary and Compliance Officer of TNT NV (a NYSE Euronext Amsterdam listed company). Sandra worked for NIBC Bank as a Senior Lawyer and Deputy Corporate Secretary. She started as an attorney-at-law practicing in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. She obtained a master’s degree in Dutch law at Groningen University.

James serves as the CEO of Castleview Property Fund Limited, a fund focussing on retail property investments in South Africa and is listed on the JSE. Previously James was the chief executive officer of Emira Property Fund Limited which brought him extensive real estate experience in a JSE listed REIT for 11 years across retail, offices and industrial property sectors. James was also employed as an equities analyst at Barnard Jacobs Mellet, a prominent South African stockbroker from 1996 to 2003 where he covered various sectors including real estate. James holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of KwaZuluNatal and is a CFA charterholder.

Pieter Prinsloo

Pieter serves as CEO of Redefine Europe B.V., a subsidiary of Redefine Properties Ltd. Previously Pieter held the position of CEO of Hyprop Investments Ltd in South Africa, which brought him extensive real estate experience in a JSE listed REIT for more than 14 years. Earlier, Pieter was involved in private property development and management for New Africa Developments, and gained extensive know-how in commercial and structured property finance with ABSA Bank and Standard Bank in South Africa. Pieter holds a Bachelor of Science (Quantity Surveyor) cum laude degree of the University of Pretoria and has received awards from the Association of South African Quantity Surveyors.

Taco held the position of CEO/Chairman of the board of Vastned Retail N.V. a listed investment fund (NYSE Euronext Amsterdam AMX) with assets in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Spain until December 2020. Here he introduced and implemented to the company a new strategy attracting large institutional investors. Earlier, Taco was a founding partner/non-executive member of the board of MSeven Real Estate in London, a specialised fund and asset management organisation focusing on the UK. Prior to that, Taco was a founding partner of GPT/Halverton LLP in London, a fund and asset management company active in Europe, and founded Rubens Capital Partners with a portfolio of residential and retail assets for family offices and wealthy private investors. Taco obtained a master degree in Dutch Law at Utrecht University and a master degree in Real Estate (MRE) at Amsterdam University, together with various INSEAD and Rotterdam University programmes. Taco holds the position of non-executive director at Tritax EuroBox Plc, listed on the LondonStock Exchange, and is a visiting lecturer at ASRE/University Amsterdam and Hogeschool Rotterdam.  Taco is a member (chartered surveyor) and assessor of RICS Netherlands.

Marek Belka

Marek is a former Prime Minister of Poland (2004 to 2005) and President of Narodowy Bank Polski Polish Central Bank) (2010 to 2016). He has held various political positions since 1996, including Advisor to the President of Poland, Minister of Finance and Deputy Prime Minister. He has also held positions in international organisations, serving as executive secretary of the Economic Commission for Europe (in the rank of Undersecretary General of the UN) and Director of the European Department in the International Monetary Fund (2008 to 2010). Marek worked in Albania as advisor to three consecutive prime ministers of the country and in the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq (2003 to 2004). He was a member of the board of directors of two commercial banks in Poland (at different times) and served as chairman of LOT Polish Airlines from 2002 to 2003. Since July 2019 he has served as member of the European Parliament. He has a degree Economics MA, PhD and Habilitacja (higher degree common in continental Europe).

Maciej Dyjas is a Managing Partner of Griffin Real Estate, the largest, privately owned, most active and innovative investment and asset manager in private equity specialized in real estate in CEE. He is also a Managing Partner at Cornerstone Partners, a private equity investment firm, active in the CEE region, with an impressive track-record of transactions. Before joining Griffin Real Estate and Cornerstone Partners, he was a Managing Partner and CEO of Eastbridge Group, a Luxembourg-based private investment fund that manages over €1.5 billion in assets related to retail, consumer goods, and real estate.

He graduated from the University of Warsaw and University of Stuttgart with degrees in Mathematics, IT, and Management.

Tomasz Trzósło

Tomasz Trzósło has over 23 years of experience in the CEE real estate markets. Before joining EPP, he was the Managing Director of JLL for Poland and Central Europe, where he managed the company's operations in Poland, and oversaw JLL business in the Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia. He was also a member of legal & compliance board of Tetris design and build business for EMEA. Before managing JLL, he ran the capital markets teams of JLL for both Poland and Central and Eastern Europe, and as such was involved in numerous transactions across the CEE, including portfolio and property disposals and acquisitions, fund raising and debt deals, or structured equity transactions. He has a strong track record in working with all branches of the real estate market, including retail, office, industrial, hotel and residential sectors. While managing JLL in Poland, he identified, managed and completed two M&A transactions – acquisition and integration into the firm of the design and build business (Tétris) and residential consultancy business (REAS).

Tomasz holds a master’s degree in Financial Accountancy and Economics from the Cracow University of Economics and has qualifications in valuation, investment appraisal, property finance and portfolio management from London’s Investment Property Forum.

Jacek is a senior financial executive with over 20 years’ experience in various businesses operating across Poland and Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) countries, ranging from retail, production and sale of pharmaceuticals, FMCG, to exploration of oil and gas and other natural resources.  He was a member of a number of management boards and CFO in companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange and controlled by the largest private equity funds operated in CEE countries. Additionally, he has served in senior management and executive positions in multinational corporations, including PepsiCo and BP/Amoco, with turnovers ranging from 15 million to over 750 million euro. Jacek was responsible for business development, including M&As, financing and taxation as well as financial planning and controlling. Recently, he was a member of the management board and CFO of Empik Media & Fashion S.A., one of the largest holding companies controlling a group of retail, e-commerce and service operations.

Wojciech has over 16 years of experience in the commercial real estate sector. Recently he worked as the Managing Director at Echo Investment Property Management, and was responsible for managing all retail and office assets developed by Echo Investment. Wojciech ran the business with a particular emphasis on delivering high quality property management services, increasing profitability, and developing modern management tools to improve operations and their tenants’ business efficacy. Prior to joining Echo, Wojciech worked in the hotel and office sectors, selling hotel projects and commercialising office assets.

Wojciech earned his master’s degree in finance and banking from the Cracow University of Economics.

Since 1997, Michał has worked in real estate for several companies based in Poland, Russia, and Kazakhstan. Recently at Griffin Real Estate as a Venture Partner and the Head of Retail, Michał managed retail assets totaling 84,000 m2 GLA. He was also involved in Echo Investment’s retail ventures.

Michał was associated with Clairmont Global Poland (part of The Hanover Company and Metlife) and ECE Projektmanagement as Head of Development and Head of Leasing. Michał worked also for Jones Lang LaSalle Russia, where he managed retail teams in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Kazakhstan, and established the new JLL office in Almaty.

Michał received a degree in business and marketing from the Polish Open University in Warsaw and BA degree from Giedroyc College of Communications and Media in Warsaw with a specialisation in public relations. In 2005 he attended the International Council of Shopping Centers School for Professional Development, Level II in Dubai, The United Arab Emirates. Apart from his native Polish, Michał is fluent in English and German, and speaks basic Russian.

Rafał Kwiatkowski

Rafał is an experienced legal, compliance and operations professional bringing over 15 years of real estate experience gained at Echo Investment SA, the biggest Polish developer. Rafał was directly involved in financing, leasing, sales and acquisitions of Echo Investment portfolio at first as a team member of the Legal Department and starting from 2007 as Chief Legal Officer. During his tenure at Echo Investment he also supervised the firm’s property management activity. From 2005-2007 Rafał was a Member of the Supervisory Board at Barlinek SA and Opoczno SA.

He graduated from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań with a degree in law and completed postgraduate studies in finance and taxes at the Warsaw School of Economics.

Agata Sekuła

Agata Sekuła has over 20 years of investment advisory experience in the retail sector and is one of the most renowned retail real estate experts in the Central Eastern European (CEE) region. She worked for JLL for 22 years, most recently as Vice President of the Management Board and Head of the Capital Markets team in Poland. Agata has an enviable track record of successful sales and acquisitions of retail properties in Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, and Hungary, having completed transactions with a total value of over EUR 13.5 billion. She specialises in transactions involving the sales and acquisitions of shopping centres, both single properties and large retail real estate portfolios. Agata was responsible for preparing sales processes, sales marketing of projects, due diligence analyses, transaction structuring, commercial negotiations and supervising the fulfilment of transaction terms agreed by parties.

During her career, Agata Sekuła has advised in the largest and most important transactions involving leading Polish retail properties, such as Chariot portfolio (28 retail locations sold for EUR 1 billion by the consortium of Apollo-Rida, Ares and AXA), Atrium European Real Estate portfolio (Atrium Felicity in Lublin and Atrium Koszalin shopping centres and Tyrion portfolio), flagship shopping centres Galeria Katowicka and Silesia City Center both located in Katowice, Manufaktura in Łódź, Stary Browar in Poznań, Magnolia Park in Wrocław, Promenada in Warsaw, and many others.

Agata Sekuła graduated from Law and Administration faculty at the University of Warsaw, she also has qualifications in property valuation confirmed by the diploma from the Warsaw University of Technology, as well as the Certificate in Advanced Property Investment Appraisal, Advanced Property Finance and Funding and Advanced Portfolio Management gained at Investment Property Forum Advanced Education Programme in London provided by the Cambridge International Land Institute and City University Business School.

Prior to joining the EPP, Marek worked for over 13 years for Echo Investment, where as Director of the Leasing and Marketing Department, was responsible for the development and implementation of leasing strategies for such projects as Galaxy Szczecin, Pasaż Grunwaldzki in Wrocław, Libero in Katowice as well as Galeria Echo in Kielce. He also dealt with recommercialisation of all shopping centres from Echo Investment’s portfolio and took part in creating a concept of multifunctional project – Towarowa 22 in Warsaw – a joint project by EPP and Echo Investment.

Sylwia Piechnik

Sylwia has been working in the commercial real estate sector for more than 15 years. She came to EPP from HB Reavis Poland where she worked as a Senior Leasing Manager. Before HB Reavis, until 2013, she worked for the Polish developer Yareal Polska in various capacities and most recently as the Head of Leasing and Sales. Prior to that, Sylwia was an architect and project manager at ECI Group and also worked for the real estate consulting firm Couderq Binswanger Poland.

Sylwia holds a master's degree in architecture and urban design from the Cracow University of Technology. She also completed postgraduate studies in conservation of architectural and urban monuments and property valuation.

Later engaged with Echo where he started as a specialist. Developing and expanding his knowledge became the Director of the RSC Galaxy.

Soon after gaining experience in finance, management,forigne languages as well as property management including commerce ones became Head of Retail supervising and managing eight Shopping Centers in the EPP portfolio.

Tomasz Skuza

Tomasz Skuza has over 18 years of experience in the real estate industry. In EPP he supervises the operations of eight shopping centres belonging to the company. During the last three years he was also responsible for the acquisition and integration of projects acquired by EPP and their smooth operations.

He started his professional career at Ober-Haus. Then he joined the Echo Investment team, where he was responsible for the office and retail projects segment. In 2013-2016, as Investment Manager, he participated in the sale of Echo Investment's shares to Griffin Real Estate, Pimco and Oaktree.

He was also responsible for managing projects from the portfolio of Griffin Real Estate (Hala Koszyki, Renoma, Supersam) and Catalyst Capital (Pasaż Świętokrzyski in Kielce, Orion Biznes Tower).

He graduated from the Warsaw School of Real Estate Management (Wyższa Szkoła Gospodarowania Nieruchomościami) with a degree in economics. He completed two specialisations: property valuation and management. He holds a PMI certificate signed by The George Washington University and a property manager license granted by the Ministry of Infrastructure.

Prior to joining EPP, he had worked for 13 years in Echo Investment capital group within property management supervising structures. Most recently, as Senior Asset Manager, he was responsible for the entire portfolio of office properties owned Echo.

Currently, as the Head of Office Operations, he is responsible for the portfolio of office properties belonging to  EPP, as well as the facilities managed by EPP, but owned by other investors, including Q22 office building.
